Microsoft Corp. has unveiled a peculiar new AI-powered feature dubbed 'vibe working,' designed to streamline document creation by allowing users to outline concepts while artificial intelligence handles the execution. The tool will debut in web-based Office applications before migrating to desktop versions.
The initiative employs two approaches: 'Agent Mode' for Excel and Word enables AI-assisted content generation, with PowerPoint integration forthcoming. Simultaneously, Copilot will gain 'Office Agent' functionality for crafting PowerPoint and Word documents, followed by Excel capabilities. This marks Microsoft's latest push to embed AI deeper into productivity ecosystems.
